Chuck LaVerdiere, PE
Chuck grew up in Southern California, and graduated from the top-rated Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Right out of school he continued to learn from the very best, working at one of the leading structural engineering firms in San Diego.
Over the years, Chuck’s design experience has taken all shapes and sizes; home remodels and additions, historical renovations, concrete tilt-up structures, steel framed buildings, mid-rise mixed-use buildings, commercial fit-ups, and more. He also has significant experience investigating and evaluating existing buildings as well as navigating the permitting process.
In his spare time Chuck and his wife Sarah stay busy raising their four young children.

After growing up on a llama farm in Virginia, Jonathan earned both his B.S. and Master’s degrees from Virginia Tech. He then married his lovely wife Meghan and whisked her away to North Carolina, and together they have five lively children to chase around. Jonathan enjoys reading, attacking the honey-do list, and shearing an occasional llama for old times’ sake.
Sarah grew up in the foothills of North Carolina. She received her B.A. from Meredith College then moved to San Diego where she met Chuck. The two were married the following year and together moved back to North Carolina. Sarah loves working with her husband at Stonewall as well as reading, cooking, and teaching their children.
Cody Johnston, EI
Born and raised in Ohio, Cody moved to North Carolina and earned a degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structures from North Carolina State University. After a year of engineering cell phone towers, Cody joined the team at Stonewall. In his free time, Cody enjoys reading and spending time with his wife.
Adam grew up in the cornfields of rural Indiana. He earned his B.S. in Engineering Technology from Purdue University then spent several years gaining industry experience in New England prior to transplanting to the Triangle. Adam’s favorite activities include playing his violin, solving Rubik’s cubes, and hanging out with his wife.
